Apple's answer to Palm Pre


We all know Palm intentionally launched their Palm Pre 2 days before Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) and it shook Apple alright. Now heir counterattack? A $99 iPhone 3G and a brand new model of iPhone named iPhone 3 GS. Same iPhone but with faster ARM processor and double the RAM. Also it will be equipped with the new iPhone OS 3.0 that finally let the user record videos. There will be a voice recognition integrated with the apps and the battery is beefed-up once more making 12 hours of talk time from the previous 10. The camera was upgraded to 3.0 megapixels with autofocus. The 16GB version of the phone will now sell for $199 with a two-year contract with AT&T. The previous generation iPhone 3G sold for $199 in an 8GB configuration or $299 in a 16GB configuration.
